• Comments: After around 4-5 months in the making with many pauses in-between working periods, I finally finished my third AMV! This was the hardest one yet.
  
  Whereas my first and second AMV were built around the plot in a very linear sort of way, this is the opposite. This AMV first started as a brief flash of inspiration while I was listening to Alt-J's "3WW"; specifically, the ending scene of the video really inspired me and is how I started making it. From there I had to think about how to connect the show with the song's meaning, which to me revolves around the human desire to feel and also define love. I felt that the characters each had their own ways of defining love along with their obvious desires to be loved. These two desires seem to butt heads in the show here and there, and definitely cause the characters to bump up with each other. So I thought I would try to touch on these problems as they exist throughout the anime for all characters, not just Shinji, although he gets plenty of attention here.
  
  Another difference from the first two videos is the way it was made. This is first of all in 16:9. Since it would have taken an awful amount of time, work, and resources to crop individual screenshots from the anime, I decided to just use actual video files instead of thousands of individual JPEGS.
  
  There was a time where, halfway through production I got frustrated with the AMV and took a long break, thinking I might never finish it. Thankfully I didn't delete the files from my computer, and just assumed that if I had long enough time doing other things I might be able to see it all with fresher eyes. Alas, here it is!
