Honesty I find this to be my beloved masterpiece, my 1st video that I see as a good video.
It started when I met the composer here at the org, and I really loved his music, especially this piece. From the moment I listened to it I was overwhelmed with the eerie feeling it gave me, and that is when I knew I really have to edit it.
So what I tried to do is take Akame Ga Kill which I was also thinking about editing at the time, and try to edit this extreme action anime in a way that is more dramatic and serious than just action. There is no TRUE way of interpreting this video, if you watch the anime you will follow the storyline of it, but if you don't you will find a few twists going on. Who is truly the corrupted person? An answer is not really provided since every character was shown as a murderer, with tatsumi's victim only appearing as a victim, and her crimes were presented in a way that seem to be Night Raid's, it doesn't really stop him from being the corrupt one. Everyone shall have his own view.
Hmm.. I admit that the description is somewhat pretentious where it makes the AMV sound so much darker than it is, but these ideas are true, and I hope people can see that.
This video is probably the closest to the perfection of my style that you have seen from me till now. I hope can go further, but for now this is the piece I am mostly proud of.
And last but most definitely not least, I made this video as a birthday present for my 2 friends Peter (pieetrr) and Jas (KenshiroAMV). Happy birthday you two!
