Whew! I was looking at the guidelines for Anime North this year and realized that my newest AMV had just missed the earliest premiere date for submissions. Feeling a little bummed and discouraged I had gone through a few ideas when I remembered thinking about editing to this song. I wanted to include effects and what not, but I figured why not do it raw and challenge myself to put together something with no effects and transitions. Here it is, I hope to make it into Anime North this year and have it shown on the big screen.
I spent over a month on this and used my new knowledge of AVISynth and making clips using virtual dub. I highly recommend this process, sort of pre-planning this AMV I think helped me finish it in time.
