    I absolutely hated the 2nd half of Sword Art Online. It was terrible, and as such, I refused to edit with anything past episode 14 (minus the last scene and the OP2). Therefore, my scene selection for this AMV was limited to the first half. Not the best work I've done, but considering time spent, I am somewhat satisfied with the result.

    v1.1 - Fixed the timing, speed and alignment of several shots. Enhanced certain effects. Replaced a few scenes (including the end scene), to maintain a more consistent composition. Interpolated the entire AMV to 60fps for smoother motion. Interpolation was done post final render, so the results are sub-par. Also, in order to keep artifacts to a minimum I didn't use the smoothest algorithm.

    v1.0 - Running @ 30fps, this is the original first version created without the fixes, this is probably the version circulating conventions/contests.

    In the near future, a Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG) called Sword Art Online has been released where players control their avatars with their bodies using a piece of technology called Nerve Gear. One day, players discover they cannot log out, as the game creator is holding them captive unless they reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. However, if they die in the game, they die in real life. Their struggle for survival starts now...
