- Comments: I'm a big fan of the album Songs for Beginners by Graham Nash. One of the first songs I ever heard from that album was track 6:Simple Man. I had no clue that the album got a CD reissue until last month, and when I discovered it had been reissued I special ordered it at the store (up 'til that point I had only owned the album on vinyl LP). However, what I didn't know is that this version of the album was remixed.....so it sounds different than the version I heard on the original vinyl LP. And the versions of the songs from this album on his 3 disc retrospective:Reflections are the same ones as the copy I ordered (if I ever get the original mix of the song on MP3 or WMA I'll probably replace the audio in the video with that one). But never mind that:I'm not going to lie to you:I don't know much about Cowboy Bebop other than the major characters (Spike, Jet, Faye, etc), and I've only seen a few of the episodes, but I do know all about the tragic love story of Spike & Julia, and have seen how the romance ends, and I really thought this song would suit them. Instead of sending the idea as a request to somebody who's more fond of the series, I thought I'd spare them the hassling and make it myself, but I decided to get help with it though since I didn't know the series that well. I didn't intend for this video to be a masterpiece, but I do hope that it's at least good enough to not upset the more serious fans of the show.
