As the title suggests, this vid is nonstop horrible abuse happening to small children with plenty of gore, so be warned.
Pat Benatar's "Hell is for Children" and the second FMA anime.
The concept behind this is sort of iffy, since the song's about child abuse, and while all the children here are abused, it's not by their parents, cept in Nina's case, poor girl was totally in the kind of situation the song is actually about, only with alchemy instead of beatings (and Hohenheim's absence probably counts as a form of emotional neglect in light of the result, even if he did have his reasons...he himself said it was partly his fault Ed and Al tried to bring back Trisha, so if you look at it that way even that part of the video is technically connected to SOME form of child abuse also Truth invokes the kids parents several times as he abuses them....hahaha I'm streeeeetching it.) So is it poor taste?
But my Dad plays this song a LOT and for some reason FMA always came to mind- probably because of the whole dramatic "I'VE ALREADY SEEN HELL" bit and the fact the entire anime is about kids going though hell sometimes literally.
I also wanted to just exercise my synching chops and knew it would be a challenge, I was trapped and bored. this was the best idea I had and I think it turned out pretty good! It was a challenge to make, tho the malfunctions my software had made it pretty darn hellish, which is fitting.
I need to really find a good song so I can do a proper tribute to this anime, which is my favorite.
