Even before I watched Sky Crawlers, I associated this song with flying. The aerial combat sequences in the anime blew me away, so I knew I had to make a video. I tried to work in some of the complex relationship between Yuichi and Kusanagi. The ending of the AMV is as ambiguous as the ending of the movie.
I love Pwolf's "So High" AMV, in fact it's my favorite video of his. It was also a big influence on me when I was thinking out this video, so the title is a nod to him.
I'm just putting the 720p version up, apologies to people with slow internets.
