Work on this movie began nearly three years ago to the date premiered as a sort of on again, off again project. The song is one I've wanted to use for a long time; I grew up with this music and really wanted to make something simple and reflective of the piece and the remembrances it gives me. I used a live recording for the first time my work and found that it strongly reinforced the performance-like aspect of the piece. It was, in my opinion, well worth the effort :)
