• Comments: I started this AMV somewhere around octobre and in the beginning I didn't do it for a contest in generell. The while surfing the net, I happened to come across akross ^^ and found some names from editors I know (Cenit, Archivist, impr3ssiv). So I decided that I wanted to participate in the Akross Contest as well, because my AMV was only little away from being finished.
  In the end it didn't make it in the final round, but I got very positive feedback. In the end I think it's a very good AMV, but it is too unspectacular and inconspicuous to make final round in a contest with that many qualitiy editors and extreme high amount of action AMVs.
  Next year I will go for a more streamlined AMV...
  
  The idea for this AMV came to life while watching the movie Mai Mai Miracle . I am a big fan of the music of Joe Hisaishi and the song Summer is one of my all time favourites. But there always was the problem of never finding an anime that would fit the music.
  When my gf and I watched the movie I suddenly knew that I had to do an AMV with these two.
  The AMV is about two girls making friends, one being the "new kid on the block" (^^) who is shy and very introvert. The other girl introducing her to the countryside and having a fun time together. Very simple and hopefully you'll enjoy watching it!
