Oho yeah. Country music, of all things is probably the least favored genre of music on AMV.org. So what could be more shameless than to try to make a video using country music that people will actually like?
Thus it begin on a Friday, one day after I released "Millenium" I started ripping the dvd of Princess Mononoke, since the movie itself has a country feel about it which was necessary.
The song is "Seminole Wind" by John Anderson, a song based on the Seminole indians that lived in the everglades in Florida. The song tells of when the settlers moved in and ravaged the land, pretty much in the same way you'd imagine what went on in Mononoke.
The concept was so easily clear to me that the video only took 3 days to make. Only problem was finding scenery shots to use in the beginning and ending filler scenes. Actually I eventually ran out of scenes I found appropriate so I made an equally shameless and rather stale look title at the beginning to present the video. Effects are slim, and go as far as using just color balance, unlike Shameless Rock Video which had a whore house of psychodellic work put into it, but this is country music, such things are not necessary.
So here you have it, and you will enjoy it...oh yes...you will..
