My most favorite anime series. I wish more of them had something similar in it.
Rei, Shinji and Asuka don't have the happiest lives and it isn't getting better in NERV. They deal with their past (or no past), slow steps to new relationships with other people and they find a way to themselves mostly. It's a big deal to save the world, understand own feelings and don't loose a good sense.
My eyes got worse from making this music video.
