This AMV was to be a quickie, but ended up taking up almost 3 weeks because I became a bit uninspired at times. The original idea was to have footage of a baby playing with toy buildings or maybe a girl drawing a picture of a city and then erasing it, whereby the symbolic destruction of the city creating a very real consequence for its inhabitants.
But I'm lazy, so I settled with Dennou Coil, which is a kid's anime about children playing with future technology and investigating an alternate reality. Pretty cool.
Why did I think destruction would even fit with a happy song? Mostly because the original music video gave me that idea, and I thought it fit very well.
