Thanks to everyone for their early feedback. I requested the first copy be deleted because the WMV version didn't seem to render very well in preview. Between submitting the deletion request and re-encoding, I polished up a few of the easier problems that were brought up in the forums, so if you've seen it before and commented you might be a little happier. :D
Many thanks to the mods/admins for being patient with me while I edited and encoded my first-ever AMV. It's been an experience - about three weeks just to figure out how to get the sources properly ripped (and still screwing up the aspect ratio), two actual days of editing, and three more to get the output juuuuuust right. Whew.
An older version was submitted to Animazement 2010, A-Kon 2010 and Otafest 2010. This one will probably go to MechaCon 2010.
