• Comments: So my first foray into AMV making. Something I've wanted to try for a while now.
  
  Thanks to Tatsunoko vs Capcom I've really been stricken with a lot of these classic Animes. Most of all, with Yatterman, which has a remake that just finished not too long ago (and sadly still strangely ignored by the Fansubbing community, I think it's a lack of easy-to-find RAWs).
  
  I managed to obtain translated lyrics for the full Yatterman theme and wanted to find a way to get the series some attention with it. I saw a video on Youtube that I liked, but it used horrible quality video. So, as an exercise to see if I had what it takes to make an AMV, I set out to "recreate" the video using the high quality RAWs I had obtained (the classic opening was ripped from a legit DVD I owned). I only have Windows Movie Maker, so I was quite limited to what I could do to sync the video up the same way. I sneaked in some cross-fades and still frame effects to keep the timing in sync. Kinda unconventional I know, but it worked quite nicely. Turned out even better than the original video.
  
  The reason for the title is there are actually three versions of the same song here. The first verse comes from the Remake's first opening by Saemon Onyakichi, the second verse comes from the original, legendary singer and songwriter Masayuki Yamamoto singing the original 70s version. And the third verse comes from Yamamoto again, but from a version he recorded in 1993.
  
  If there are any expert veteran AMV Makers out there who like to give me a few pointers, I'd welcome it.
