When I first heard this song I wanted to make a video for it. This music has very strong emotions and dynamics that make it fun to edit to. When doing this video I did not try to tell the story of the characters but rather tried to show the emotions they are going through. I also tried to use effects to add to the emotional impact and fit the tone of the music. I mostly made this video to practice making a multi-source video and to refine some of my other skills. I may have been a little fade happy between clips but I liked the result. Having abrupt changes between clips is something I have never liked and I felt that fades fit the more flowing feel of the song.
I edited this with Sony Vegas Pro 9 with the clips extracted and filtered with avisynth and virtualdubmod. The final render was done with Zarx264gui. I hope you enjoy this video and please leave a comment if you wish.
note: I tried to think of a better name for the video other than the title of the song. In the end none of my ideas were any closer to the what the song means then the original. So I decided to stick with the title that works the best.
