  • Comments: A few months back I found that nifty video editing program called Sony Vegas 8.0. After hearing this song far to many times in my life I realized I could use it for a Kanon AMV and got to work. This was the first time I used such heavy rotoscoping and masking, so that was a fun challenge. I tried to make it so that most scenes sort of roll or connect into the next. The idea was that all the girls lives are interconnected. I'm not sure if it came out that way but it looks okay anyway. I ended up using a few bg clips from air for certain scenes, because you would be hard-pressed to find an ocean scene in the snowy backdrop of Kanon.



    The AMV focuses on the Kanon characters and their own personal issues, and how they get over them, eventually leading up to Ayu's effect on everyone. It's more of a lyric matching AMV then anything else. Either way I hope you enjoy it!
