Comments: I had fun making a handful of live-action time-lapse music videos while I worked a little way up the editing learning curve. I then decided to tackle my first AMV - I've enjoyed watching so many of them. I hope I've avoided typical n00b mistakes.

I was happy with the way this turned out. The idea rattled around in my head for a month and I did preparation work selecting possible clips for a couple weeks. Most of the actual editing was done in one 12 hour binge.

It's hard to fit this into a category: There's a little bit of action in some scenes, a touch of black comedy and the suggestive nature of the lyrics, finally the fun I had with it that I hope you share.

My biggest goal in the video was lyric sync to the song, focusing on Tokita from Paprika to do so. During instrumental parts, I aimed for internal sync. In hindsight, the video's theme then drifted toward the movie's plot while I hunted for clips to match the music.

Software used: Vegas Pro 9
No effects, just a single crossfade. Two small lip-synch clips turned out OK.

Warning, there's a little non-sexual nudity near the end. If you remember the movie, you'll know what I mean.
