  • Comments: I have been increasingly participating in Lawrence Studios for about two years, offering advice and pointing out problem areas in videos at first, and working up to mapping out and directing parts of our most recent video, Anime Sings and Swings - Platinum Edition, which won 1st Place in Comedy and Best in Show at Otakon 2009.

    I first saw 5 Centimeters Per Second in an AMV at Otakon 2008 and bought the DVD a few hours later. I've wanted to do a video to this ever since, just because it is so gorgeous, and despite it being the most depressing anime I have ever seen.

    This is my first solo video, and my first time ever actually touching any of the editing software or even looking at a script. I was blessed with having beautiful footage to work with that required very little cleaning or modifying.

    I have several more projects planned, so I hope you enjoy this one!
