• Comments: A video about Maes Hughes, one of my favorite characters in Fullmetal Alchemist. He is amazing, and I felt I needed to make a video dedicated to him and the reasons why people love him: his humor, family values, and overall good-guy personality in an anime that deals with darker themes and moral questions.
  
  About the song choice: I know Hero is a song being sung about the woman a man loves and can't bear to lose. When I did listen to this song again though, I was able to picture it as just a song about a man who wants to protect what he loves: his family, friends, and even the lives he isn't connected to, the strangers who live in the city and even country he is supposed to protect. With this idea in mind, I was easily able to connect one and one together. Hughes fits that description beautifully and I just decided to put the project in motion.
  
  I would like to thank my sister for watching the video and helping me to catch all of the little (and big) mistakes and problems as I went through the editing process, and just encouraging me to finish up the AMV.
