  • Comments: This AMV was really fun to put together. While the last 4 had been assembled, I had been tinkering on this. I wanted to make it creepier, though. So we started running down all the known camera effects that make movies creepy. a popular one from "The Ring" or "Ringu" was making clips jumpy, staticy, and off-centered from the last cut. Jumpy and off-centered is easy. Static I found was faked by diffusing a clip, then desaturating it. Of course, if you only partially desaturate it, you get a "washed out" color, which in some cases is creepier than black and white.

    But enough shop-talk. Hope this makes for good entertainment.
