    When I first heard the song I used for this AMV, it didn't strike me as a song I would make an AMV to. I had recently bought the Narnia soundtrack and was flipping through the music. Soon afterwards, I watched 5 Centimeters Per Second and decided I wanted to do an AMV for it. I originally was planning to use a different song from the same CD, but about halfway through I realized it wasn't working. I went back, listened to the CD again, and settled on "Remembering You". Once I had the song, I changed my game plan several times, fiddling with the length of the song and pondering perhaps adding a second anime into the mix. By the time I was done, I had cut the song a full minute. From there, the AMV pretty much flowed smoothly. I had little to no trouble deciding what clips I wanted where. The biggest problem was that I was teaching myself how to use Sony Vegas at the same time that I was making this AMV, so pretty much all of it was trial and error. Also, I was using a Windows platform on a Mac, which lagged horribly, constantly shut down without warning, or froze. That was fun. -_-;;

    The story for this AMV pretty much parallels the story from the anime. A little boy and a little girl are friends, end up falling in love and moving away from each other, and ultimately never see each other again. The song itself is about the beginning and ending of a relationship, and remembering what it was like. As nasty as it sounds, I honestly wanted people to cry when they saw this AMV. I think for the most part it worked. =)

    Special thanks to my friends for beta-testing, and to Dragon/Roy for helping me figure out how to convert this for upload.

    I also apologize for the watermark, but I've had some trouble with stolen videos before that I'd rather not repeat.
