  After hearing the song "Fire" by Scooter...some dispicable force inspired me to make a video to it...not only that...an effects video (not like the song had any realy mean so why not?). Thus started the horror than entailed, as I blindly asked a small question in the forum, which was quickly answered and so began the creation of this vid, with the simple no how of a single effect, later fallowed by a few others..until I was viciously consumed by lag from so many cuts and edits that I could scream.
  
  Since the song's name was Fire, and given it's techno/rock type nature, I decided that I'd make the video appear burned in some sense, pretty much using a noise filters and some matte's so that only the colors yellow and red would appear (though some blue would get in too) and have the rest look like ash. The idea was good..though redundant while editing it, but it still looked good in the final draft. The video has a crappy appearance in quality cause it's supposed too. The hole grainy look which is in the majority of the video was all part of the burnt look that I was after.
  
  Now some of the video quality of the Xvid encode was lacking cause there was so much high motion..that the file became enormous, and I had to go through trial and error to compress it to something under 90mb, and thus succeeded in making it 83mb, though some pixilization can be seen (most of it was wiped out by the filters). I now feel as if I spent more time trying to encode the video than I did editing it, but it's all good, and I had an educational experience....of DOOM.
