  • Comments: As you can see, this is a collaborative AMV I did together with CygnuSKnight, a fellow studio member and friend of mine. This started off one day as we decided to do a collab and CygnuS suggested to use this song by Trivium from their new album "Shogun". I kind of liked it and we both already had a rough idea on which anime(s) could match the song. However, I had to cut this song down significantly, since the original version is about 6:27 minutes long and, while listening to it, I thought it got a little boring after a while anyway.
    So then the editing could begin and after some time and quite a bit of postponement due to various reasons, we are finally able to release this.
    This video revolves, much like the song itself, around themes such as honour, code of the samurai and brutality, and therefore it also contains a couple of explicitly violent scenes, so be warned before you press the play button. :P
    Incidentally, the title of this AMV is a (somewhat) direct translation of the song title ("Kirisute Gomen"), which is a phrase that was commonly used among samurais before decapitating their enemy or adversary.
