If you look at the video description in one of my previous AMVs, "Awwwright", you'll see that I talk about dropping a project that "dragged on and on". Well, this is the one.

This video goes way back. When I was just learning my chops (and I still am), and this was around December 2006, I made an AMV with this song and this anime. Afterward, I made another AMV with photographs as the overbearing theme. I decided to combine these two concepts, and here is the end product. The reason why I initially dropped the project was because of the rotoscoping. The MFing rotoscoping. I had masked about 50 whole frames before I saw the long road ahead and quit. Then I thought, "That's a damned shame to have masked those frames and not use 'em". Subsequently, over the summer, I masked another 400 frames before I started the actual editing. Funny thing is, I didn't even use half those rotoscoped frames in the final cut.

Edit: Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: the jumping-out-of-frame effect was inspired by metro's True Fiction. If you go to :55 (and look at the missiles), you'll see the exact moment when I received my epiphany.

Programs Used: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop. These two programs are like yin and yang. Except both are awesome

Time Taken: The actual editing took exactly a week
