• Comments: This video is a really, really basic paste-job created as a gag for a friend - it took one rainy, boring night, and served its purpose in making him laugh. That's about all there is to it, it's only here because I felt guilty once for not putting anything on AMV.org in a while, and I don't recommend watching it unless you're just that bored.   Okay, so my brain has a really weird defect: whenever I try to remember the opening to Final Fantasy 10, and the song Otherworld, SPF1000's song Darkness pops into my mind instead. That's the heavy metal song Grim plays in the "Battle of the Bands" episode of The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. To this day, I still have to actually find and play the song Otherworld just to not think of Darkness. So eventually, I wondered if Final Fantasy X's opening actually would work if it was reedited to Darkness' pace instead of Otherworld, and sat down at the computer with the PS2 disc in hand to find out.
  
  The answer is "yes, and surprisingly well", and this video's the result. There's nothing brilliant or artistic about the video: it's basic clip shuffling meant to match the pace of the original to a new song, that's all. It took about two hours on a boring night, and it shows. But if you've ever wanted to hear that Billy and Mandy song in its entirety, here's your chance. Hopefully it won't get stuck in any other FFX fan's head...
