Comments: My first video created using Premiere. It's a fairly somber, surreal piece made using footage from the first half of "Adolescense Mokushiroku". I'm thinking of making a second video also with music by October Project using the second half of the movie, as a counterpart to this one.

This video mostly focuses on the growing relationship between Utena and Himemiya, and the strangeness of the landscape around them. "Sunday Morning Yellow Sky" is a perfect song for an Utena music video. The second line in the chorus goes "sun is floating diamond high", which for me evoked the image of Utena staring up at the square of the dueling platform with rose petals raining down on her.

Other lines, like "carved into the stone that is changing around him", made me think of the shifting Escher-like landscape of Ohtori Academy in the movie.
