  The local download is now a remastered version. The "nice vid, but that footage" comments were just what I needed to finally do it. That and impending AWA14 submission deadlines. This was entered but not shown publicly. :( Since everything was done in WMM, I had to start from scratch. I liked the original so I tried to create a remaster more than a new version. This is, in my opinion, a remaster of ByeMerry with tweaks to beat sync. I took out the frame jump btwn clips at 18s, smooth blend. That caused beat sync changes which led to a filler clip added at 47s. I shored up the beat sync throughout, shortening and lengthening clips by frames. Mostly though, it is hard enough to recreate a video from scratch without it being a little off, much less do so while repeating known mistakes. In my heart, I feel this is the video I tried to create the first time but couldn't get WMM to give it to me. Frustration led to a lowering of standards. Thanks to whomever allowed me to replace the file as a remaster.

  My second AMV, a farewell to the Going Merry. Like my first, I had intended to redo this in Premiere but I am giving up on that. What makes my tribute different is the music. The song is a little known song from a half hit wonder but I like the band so :P It has an American Southern Rock/Country feel. The band is out of Nashville so there just isn't much getting around that. Don't let it scare you though. I just thought it was a nice departure from the typical linkin park and evanescence vids(which I did for my third). As is my way, it may take a 2nd viewing to truly appreciate my subtle style. I hope you enjoy and as always, send me some criticism.
