  This is the first video that I've ever competed with, and the fact that I took home Best in Show and Audience Favorite makes me completely stoked. And there were some really good videos competing with me too.
  
  
  The idea actually came from an Eva AMV I stumbled upon on Veoh.com. It wasn't all that great, but the song made me go "whoa." And since I had just seen Macross Zero, and the song practically screamed of war, I had to do it. It was also a good chance to use it as a basis for learning how to use After Effects CS3 (which I'm STILL learning right now).
  
  The running theme that goes throughout the video is war, but I also wanted to explore various aspects of a TV. So you get a TV show in the beginning, the AMV presented as a Breaking News broadcast, various TV screens with bad reception, and well, other surprises along the way. I won't say them all cause then what would be the point in watching the video?
  
  As a side note, I would definitely recommend picking up some of Savatage's other music if you like the song. And be sure that it's albums with their first singer and not their second one (name escapes me at the moment). But enjoy the AMV, and would love some feedback!
  
  Quick Note: Best viewing would be VLC or any other player that can handle mpg files. It's been known to me that WMP doesn't do that kind of thing.
