When I was listening to this song on my iPod I immediately thought of the Death Note series. I researched the song/anime matching and found a few other AMV's pairing the two but none of them seemed to match up the action with the lyrics. I decided on making the video and son began matching different scenes that seemed to fit the lyrics.
While putting one of my first drafts together I found that a few of the clips I had chosen seemed to contain mouth flaps that matched the lyrics almost perfectly. I found a few more scenes like this and placed them at different points throughout the AMV.
In April of 2009 I remastered my video using de-interlaced clips which made the video a higher quality and more suitable to enter in contests.
This video was created using iMovie HD on the Mac OS X platform.
