Sometimes, to arrive at a conclusion, we must begin at the end.
Listening to Vienna's music is like getting to know a mysterious stranger. The first encounter is pleasant but reveals little. Intrigued, you return for subsequent visits, each time discovering something new and complex. The song reveals itself layer by layer, verse by verse. And just when you think you understand it for sure, you see Vienna live and experience it with your eyes, ears, and nerves - and the song is once again transformed.
I tried to recreate that mysteriousness with this video. Just as the song describes many vivid moments without providing context, I wanted to sketch a story without giving away all of the answers. The "moments" are all there, as well as that underlying sense of emotional restraint, with passion simmering at its edge. But it is up to you, the viewer, to put the pieces together and create your own interpretation. Hopefully, as with the song and the stranger, you will find something new and enjoy this video more with every watch.

Many thanks to my beta-testers: Otohiko, Koopiskeva, krzT, Kristyrat, and Bakadeshi. Special thanks to 'deshi for recommending that I watch this series; and to Koop, for starting it all with Waking Hour.
