• Comments: This was a very strange concept indeed. I was having a discussion with a friend about how Link from the Legend of Zelda series, never speaks. He always just nods, or gives a "HAAAA!", "YAAAH!" or other type of grunt or yell. Then I got to thinking....wouldn't it be an epic event the day Link finally does speak?
  "That would make a great AMV one day" I thought...."I just don't know what to pair it with..."
  
  So I was surfing around watching movie trailers, because I wanted to do another trailer AMV, I came across the trailer for "King Arthur" (2004). The trailer made the movie seem so epic and exciting, even though it was not a very good film in most people's eyes. I wanted to use it... I just didn't know what anime to pair with it, to be clever... Then I remembered, Link talking for the first time would be an epic event...this trailer was very epic...hmmm....
  
  Thus I decided to try using video game footage for the first time, and watched all the cut scenes from The Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess. I thought, I could pull it off, I just had to be clever about how Link would speak in the trailer. So through "clever" editing, I made it so whenever Link spoke as Arthur you wouldn't actually see his lips. For example you would see a close up of his eyes, or his back would be turned to us as if he was talking to Zelda/Guinevere. I am VERY pleased with how this turned out. It looks very epic and feels epic. And while I wasn't able to truly able to show Link's lips and lip sync with him, (aside from him yelling) I WAS able to get other characters like Ganondorf some lip sync action! WOOT!
