• Comments: This is a video about a man remembering a magical summer when he was a teen, the "best days of my life." The video contains some poignant moments when he remembers how he later lost those cherished relationships from that summer, but overall it is an upbeat, uptempo song which celebrates the good times from that season.
  Unlike my action vids, in this one the video is subservient to the audio, meaning that the video is used to tell the story of the song. Therefore, lyric-synching takes presedence, though I tried to beat-synch and instrument-synch as much as possible during the concert scenes. Forum thread.
  
  Notes on video quality: The source material from Beck was, by far, the worst that I have worked with so far. I encoded the vid about 10 times, trying out different combinations of filters and picture Tweaks until I got the version uploaded here. I ended up having to use two temporal smoothers, one spacial smoother, a de-blocker and standard picture Tweaks to contrast, saturation and brightness. The quality is still not perfect, but it's much better than any of the other encodes.
