I thought Hajime no Ippo was a nice fit with this song. Both the song and the character of Ippo are intensely focused to the point of approaching simplicity. However, Ippo's character has been somewhat twisted to fit the song. In the context of the video, he seems to be driven more by rage and vengeance than by love of boxing.
