Comments:
This project started when I was listening to this song one day and I noticed that the lyrics would mostly fit like a glove with the anime X. So, I went ahead and just gave it a try. I was trying out different things concerning the editing while working on this AMVs and then decided to stick with this editing style.
On another note, this vid took me pretty much exactly two weeks to finish, I lost count of the hours though. XD
Now to the content of the vid: It pretty much follows the most important events of the movie, mainly portraiting the two friends slowly facing their inescapable destiny and eventually becoming the worst opponents. Along the way they have to go through a lot of hardships and even have to witness their closest friends dying because of the destined conflict. So, in this AMV, I focused on the themes of inevitable fate, as well as showing the two extremes facing each other and causing meaningless killing. Nevertheless, it's basically mainly an action video, so don't get me wrong. ;) The title of the AMV expresses my thoughts on this movie basically, as I found quite some aspects dealt with in the anime to be transferable to mankind's nature in general... blah?
'Nuff said, I hope you can enjoy this AMV and please leave some kind of feed back if possible, I would really appreciate that. :)

Lyrics:
Mushroomhead - Sun doesn't Rise
Some kind of evidence
some kind of reason
why I can't find a way
to begin my life
somewhere in this dying day
if I could only find a way for my escape
I find it hard to concentrate with all my past mistakes
to begin my life
I can't feel my faith, can't recall my crime
I think I sealed my fate along the way I may have lost my mind
I guess we're all damaged in our own way
Alone in our own way
distant headlights, desolate highway
I can't feel my faith, can't recall my crime
I think I sealed my fate along the way I may have lost my mind
I guess we're all damaged in our own way
Alone in our own way
distant headlights, desolate highway
sun doesn't rise at all
who knows how far I'll fall
sun doesn't rise at all
who knows how far I'll fall
with eyes wide open I can watch my world evolve
nothing left to die for
thoughts inside can make me crawl
make me drop down on my knees
break me down until I question me
Darkness can't destroy my drive
sun doesn't rise at all
who knows how far I'll fall
sun doesn't rise at all
welcome my damn fall....
somewhere in this dying day as I plan my great escape
I find it hard to concentrate while you maintain control
I fold and falter empty alter all I gave I pray it makes me whole
I think the brinks around the corner and there's an error in my soul
I can't feel my faith can't recall my crime
I think I sealed my fate along the way I may have lost my mind
I guess we're all damaged in our own way
alone in our own way
distant headlights, desolate highway
sun doesn't rise at all
who knows how far I'll fall
sun doesn't rise at all
who knows how far I'll fall
I can't feel my faith
can't recall my crime
damaged in our own way
alone in our own way
desolate highway
