• Comments: I first got this idea in Summer '06, after having watched Haruhi and iTunes featured this song as one of their weekly free downloads (something I've followed regularly for the last couple years now). It's pretty easy to realize why it stuck out so easily, what with the similarity between the song title and Haruhi's family name, but I felt that the lyrics gave the song enough craziness that I might *just* be able to pull off putting the two together.
  
  The editing took way longer than it needed to. I've been rather burned out lately and this has been getting worked on mainly after I released Fate Against Will in early July, although I'd first set up the project files and cut the clips away about a month and a half before that. For a video with such simple editing, there's no reason it should have taken two and a half months. By all means this should've been a two-week project at the most, but like I said, I was burned out and had other things on my mind (for the last three-four weeks I was also busy watching To Heart and it's related spinoffs).
  
  A couple of other possible titles I was tossing around in my head were 'My breasts are too big' (completely for the gag reaction) and 'Ever-Present Insanity' (which hits closer to the actual video, although I thought it was too cumbersome). In the end, though, ...Whatever... won out - partially through my own laziness and partially because I think it understates the video nicely.
  
  The reason it's not soft-subbed like my most recent videos are is because I couldn't find a reliable source to show that the "Suzie!" line in the chorus is either just stuttering or "Talk, talk to Suzie!" like some lyrics websites have it. There is no lyrics section on the band's website, and the only 'official' rendering of the lyrics I've seen was a post on the band's messageboards that the poster had transcribed from the single's insert - and it didn't include other indicators clearly heard in the song. So I decided against subbing it - this is also the reason this is being made available in MP4 rather than MKV; while I have other personal reasons for keeping my copies in MKV, the only public reason I do so lies more on my use of ASS subtitles and the container's Attachments area where I put other things related to the video (and in this case, the extras were rather scant anyway). Pretty much the only extra of note would be this error card that didn't get put in.
