• Comments: as is the case with most of my videos that use recently popular songs, i don't really care for this song. however, i do enjoy the pairing of kasanoda ritsu and tetsuya, and find that a part of this song fits the characters' relationship surprisingly well. (and, yes, the song is edited, in this case, to only include that portion of the song.) in particular is the line "took an oath, i'm'ma stick it out 'til the end". this line fits the yakuza/gang mentality that follows both ritsu and tetsuya, as well as the rest of ritsu's followers, with the idea that one will pledge to serve the heir - in this case, ritsu. i had a lot of fun in making this video, and i must say, i'm sad it's over already. (this seems to be consistent with the rest of my short amvs.) i used tamaki's hand to look like tetsuya's at one point. =P nothing too exciting, just a fun video with lots of crossfades on the beats and parts of the lyrics. the entire memory segment was left mostly unaltered, because it's already intense. i feel that leaving it the way it was would best show the way the characters felt at the time of the memory. they weren't speaking, just watching, and thinking, surprised and pleased at the thought of helping someone and being helped. i feel that they would remember the occasion fondly, and that's the way it was shown. the layers of the music work well with this scene, too, sort of a mind-numbing rain and surprise. during this memory sequence and afterwards were the only cases of lipsync i intended to show in this video. however, i didn't do any real editing to these scenes to make them match up, so the "lips sync" box will not be marked for rating. use of these scenes for lipsync are not supposed to be literal, either, so i thought leaving them unchanged would keep a little of that feeling that the characters are NOT singing the words, just speaking to one another.
  
  i hope you enjoy this video and see it the way i tried to make it. it's not much, but i'm proud of it anyway. ^_^
