• Comments: This is a simple project I put togther because I really wanted to make a video with Voices of a Distant Star. The song is Madre Terra by Globus. Madre Terra means 'Mother Earth in Italian.
  
  This video is me roughly telling the story of Voices of a Distant Star, about Mikako's ever increasing distance from both her boyfriend Noboru and her homeworld, Mother Earth. I tried to sync the footage with the basic feel of the music because I can't understand the lyrics and find they simply add mood.
  
  I tried to add my own small story to this AMV. Mikako lives a boring life on Earth, she sees the spaceships and wants to join them. She leaves her boyfriend behind on Earth and steadily becomes more distant. In space she encounters a planet that is just like Earth. But then she is floating alone in space. I want the audience to think about whether that planet was real, or a hallucination.
  
  I encoded 3 versions of this video. A normal 2-pass Xvid, an insanely big 2-pass Xvid (5000 kb/s) and an mp4.
