Put simple Naruto's Kyubi and Ichigo's Hollow take over their hosts and do bad deeds and when Naruto and Ichigo find themself again they find out that their friends and loved ones have been hurt so when they die they want their friends to remeber him before their inner monsters took them over. Which is basically what the song is saying.
