• Comments: This AMV uses high quality DVD rips from the anime OVA Samurai X. I used episodes from the Trust and Betrayal DVD's. In this video I wanted to try to make a nice action video with lots of neat effects, but keep the story line within the video as well. The song I decided to use was "My Assassin" by The Bled. The song was prefect not only for the name but from the progression of the song as well. The beginning starts very calmly for only a few measures until it breaks out into a very heavy song. Much like the beginning of Samurai X right before Kenshin's adoptive family is attacked. In the middle of the song is a very nice change of pace with a calmer feel to it. Much like in Samurai X when Kenshin and Tomoe live there life on the farm and begin to fall in love. And then it quickly kicks back in to the heavily distorted nature of the song when Kenshin realizes he has been tricked by Tomoe. Here are the lyrics for anyone who wants them:
