• Comments: Hey there! This is ZaerApollo with a Haruhi AMV for you to enjoy, called "Haruhi is Forever."
  
  This is actually my very first AMV, inspired by the amazing Skittles AMV by Koopiskeva.
  
  This took around a week to make from getting the RAWs to cutting and then editing. I used Sony Vegas 7.0 to make this, set to Mugen by the awesome-yet-underrated Porno Graffitti.
  
  I basically wanted to make a fun-fast paced AMV to show off the greatness of Haruhi and Porno Graffitti all in one go. Let me tell you, it was hard. I didn't really have much idea in terms of direction the video should take. Also, I was in an impatient rush state in my excitement in making this AMV.
  
  But I settled down and started getting a better grasp of what I wanted. Where to go? Oh, boy.
  
  Do I set up the scenes to the beat or to the lyrics? Will people even know what the lyrics mean? Mugen is kind of an ironic song, though. Then, what scenes to use? Fun ones? Serious ones? Timing? Effects? Jeez!
  
  Yeah, but it ended up a little bit of everything, matching to the lyrics and to the beat, I mean.
  
  All effects ended up being speed-ups or slow-downs, and one or two contrast manipulation to hide lip-flap. I started using scenes I liked and then matching it to the song instead of the other way around.
  
  It turned out being a fast paced scene-syncing fest to Mugen alternating between matching the beats and then the lyrics. I'm relatively happy with the resulting product, but I feel underwhelmed by it, not to mention that I feel like I let down the awesomeness of the song itself.
  
  I'll end up remaking this after I've got some experience under my belt, using better quality RAWs and will try to add in karaoke as well, because the AMV nor the song can reach their full impact without people understanding the lyrics.
