After making my Butterfly video, but before making my In the End video, I had already seen a lot of bad videos that were just about Asuka's Last Stand. I wanted to make another music video, but "Strangers Like Me" was going too slowly and I hadn't heard of Linkin Park. I thought that making my own bad rock video to this scene was a fun way to scratch that itch, so I lumped all the relevant battle footage together and started putting lots of semi-interesting music tracks to it. Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" made me think of how Asuka had WAY too much fun killing the Mass-Produced Evas, and thus, this shamelessly bad yet sadistically humorous video was born. I didn't tell anyone about it because it wasn't "serious" enough and therefore "didn't count," but I finally relented to my urge to share.
