• Comments: This is the first anime music video I have ever made. Here goes what will seem an essay's worth of information, but I feel like writing something for my first video. So it was definitely a learning experience as most of the programs I had never used before. This includes AviSynth, DVD Decrypter, VirtualDubMod, BeSweet GUI, etc. So please bear with me in that regard as I haven't had a lot of experience with these programs so I am not sure if I did everything right or not. I read through various parts of ErMaC and AbsoluteDestiny's guides, but it is quite the comprehensive guide and my stamina for reading something like that in it's entirety over the internet isn't very likely. I hope I got all the important information from it, but if anyone thinks I missed something important just let me know. Also on that note I would just like to thank ErMaC and AbsoluteDestiny for writing such a quality guide. Not only is the guide well written but it is easy for someone new to understand and I would recommend anyone new to making AMV's to read them first as some of the information will prove to be invaluable.
  
  Video/Technical Comments:
  Originally when I decided I was going to take a crack at making an anime music video I wanted to make sure I did a decent first job. However as time went on I ended up rushing things as I had a desire to just be done with the project. So if some things seem like they were just thrown in there, it's because they sort of were. I still think it turned out decent but of course there is always room for improvement. Some of the sequences within the video, mainly the end, are the same as how the anime turned out, while in fact I didn't want to do this I found that I liked how the ending had turned out. The music was actually sent to me by a friend as I had asked some people if they had any music that may fit the kind of video I wanted to create and luckily he found a fantastic song called Escape From Embassy by John Powell which was originally used in the movie 'The Bourne Identity'. This song is just instrumental but it was what I was looking for in terms of length and theme. It is also easier for someone new like me to edit with a song that doesn't have lyrics because you don't have to think about lyric sync and you can focus on other aspects. The entire video was edited together in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, I had used this program in the past but it usually was editing my digital video footage together from my DV camera and not using DVD footage. So I hope I managed to achieve a decent first video and any constructive criticism anyone can give would be appreciated.
