• Comments: After about a year I finally got a solo video together. It's not the most original, maybe even a cliché, but you know what? I don't care. I felt a strong bond between this anime and song that I HAD to make it. Is it any good? Who knows. I like it and that is all that matters, doesn't it?
  
  The song is "It was You" by Ashly Ballard feat. So Plush from the Pokemon the First Movie Soundtrack. I forgot about this CD for a while since I bought it in Disney back in 2000. But after JaddziaDax got me obsessed with Cardcaptor Sakura, I suddenly when on a tear to make a CCS video better than "Stargazing." Bad Idea. Not enough motivation. I found it when I went to a Haunted Hayride in early October. I already started work on my first draft at the time. You see, there is this girl I like. Have so since our trip to Wildwood New Jersey for Senior Week in 2005. I told her this the last night we were there at midnight (don't ask). Unfortiounalty, she was going to college in New York so she was not interested in getting into a relationship at the time.
  
  Fast forward a year. We crossed paths when we decided to take a second trip to Wildwood this summer. Unfortiountaly, any attempts were derailed by one of my friends and a sixty block, parasailing, pancake house, escapade. I'm not sure if they are together or not, but I'm not giving up. That is what this video is about in a sense. I want ed to covertly show this to her to maybe get the point across that I like her. Sure it is from Sakura's POV, but that was easier since most of the lyrics sync with her actions.
  
  In the end, however, I'll never show this to her. Why you ask? Well, I found my significant other and she even liked this video. So I dedicate this video to her.

  Getting this video ready was a battle of the same magnatude. From bad deinterlacing, flopping field orders, pissy quality problems on top of the usual Premiere export problems (especially since Pro perpetually botched up the ending which forced me to track down 6.5 on Ebay). I took a good month to get the footage editable. From there on, the process progressed nicely with me picking at it here and there. As opposed to my famous style of "get the video done as soon as possible." Taking your times really helps.
  
  Though, that failed miserably when ten attempts at exporting the video failed. In the end, I had to export 5 - 10 second clips of the video and then peice them back together. Upon doing so I found one problem, the audio off synced just past half way through the video. So I had to spend three hours finding where the sync actually ended and adjusting the video by adding and slowing clips down to fill the gaps. In all, I spent a good 50+ hours trying to export this video so it would upload.

The beat sync was good, but I feel like there should have been more cuts (again, to keep up with the song). Video quality was pretty nice (I've heard that the CCS DVDs are troublesome, but I haven't tried ripping mine). Overall, I enjoyed this, and I'll be jotting it down on my list of good videos.
