• Comments: Okay, so questions have come up because people apparently don't remember the show as well as me.
  The theme song came from the ending credits from the show, not the opening, and durring the ending credits, they had the three-panel thing going on with the off-set timing.
  The scenes you're seeing in the panels are not made to corrospond to the music so much as the original pictures. They corospond very closely to the original pictures (except there weren't a lot of clips of Ed flying...)
  And now everybody asks 'Why is Scar wind?'
  heheh, well, that takes a bit more explanation... If you'll remember, Captain Planet aired when the USSR was still around. Minka, wind, was representing the USSR. Wheeler (seriously, what kind of a name is that?), fire, was representing "north america" (the US, seriously, Canada and Mexico were just completely ignored). So our candidate for fire is going to be pretty obvious, I think everyone will agree on that, so if Roy is the US, then the USSR is... Scar! It makes perfect sense once you hear the explanation, but it kind of is required...
  I've had someone ask recently why I did not use Sloth for water. Sloth is not an alchemist, plain and simple. Psiren is an alchemist who uses water, therefor she becomes our "Asia" candidate. (all the kids except Minka got their continents named rather than countries. So apparently the USSR got official continent status for being so freaking huge.)
