  This labor of love is almost completed. Just posting it here to say it's in the works. Pretty much done with the entire thing and just working on an introduction now. This version has a placeholder intro. The original source material consisted of the three episodes of Read or Die I downloaded in DivX format*.
  
  When I heard the song Die Another Day by Madonna on the radio, The Paper and Nancy-san popped into my head and this was the result. It took a lot of tears before I got it done because this was my first video and I couldn't do all the things I wanted to at the time. Much of the video is a compromise. I think it turned out well even though there aren't a lot of digital effects. I have a few dissolve effects and that's pretty much it.
  
  *12-06-02: I have just finished reading the entire do's and don't of Video editing and I have committed the biggest no no of them all. Everywhere I look it says DON'T use downloaded footage, for various reasons not the least of which is the quality sucks after it is re-encoded. I noticed that but thought that was just the way it was and there was nothing I could do about it. I don't have a lot of money but I have asked for a DVD drive for my computer so that I can rip my own source material from now on. Unfortunately I have already half completed a Naruto video and want to finish it even though the end result won't be as good as it could. In fact this one is probably going to be a lesser quality vid than ROD because the source encode isn't as high quality.
  
  Also, I had originally marked this up as an action video but have since determined that it falls under OTHER. Many people have told me that for an action video, this doesn't have so much action in it. I thought it did until I saw some real action videos. There is serious beat down going on during every second! I will now classify it as an artistic dramatization with some action on the side.
