Video Info:
This is my 6th video and my first multi source video. Yeah! It wasn’t the easiest thing but the results are certainly pleasing. I made this video to enter into the Nan Desu Kan. I needed a video game video and I wanted it to beat what I did last year. I think I have done it. This video has a little bit of action, romance, and a serious tone to it. Yes, I know that I make a lot of romantic videos, but this one does have some action in it to so I’m really happy. The beats came out nice, I used some cool effects, and the clips match perfectly to the song. I must say that this is certainly my favorite thus far. Thanks for listening to that part, now on to the video description.
If you have played the games before then you should know the general relationships between these characters. If you have not played the games, you can certainly watch and enjoy, but it will be a spoiler for some things. This video centers on the lives of the main characters of Final Fantasy 8, 9, 10, 10-2 and Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2. I wanted to show everybody a video that displays the characters emotions towards each other and how they feel about the other. I was trying to avoid the typical everyday video that you see with the Final Fantasy games and Kingdom Hearts. I tried to use clips that you don’t see to often. So I hope you all enjoy my latest video and please leave a comment and tell me what you think of it. I can only get better with each comment you all make. Thanks again and enjoy ^,^
Song Info:
The song that I used was “Stay with You” by the Goo Goo Dolls. I have always wanted to do a Goo Goo Dolls video that I can post, so here it is. I loved this song when I heard it and I was looking for a song to do a game video to, so here is the result. I also thought that there would have been a lot of videos to this song, but when I looked there was none, and now there are like 2. :)
Lyrics:
These streets
Turn me inside out
Everything shines
But leaves me empty still
And I'll, burn this lonely house down
If you run with me
If you run with me
I'll stay with you
The walls will fall before we do
Take my hand now
We'll run forever
I can feel the storm inside you
I'll stay with you
Fooled by my own desires
I twist my fate
Just to feel you
But you, turn me toward the light
And you're one with me
Will you run with me?
I'll stay with you
The walls will fall before we do
Take my hand now
We'll run forever
I can feel the storm inside you
I'll stay with you
Now come in from this storm
I taste you sweet and warm
Take what you need
Take what you need
From me
Wake up this world
Wake up tonight
And run with me
Run to me now
I'll stay with you
The walls will fall before we do
Take my hand now
We'll run forever
I can feel the storm inside you
I'll stay with you
Software Info:
Since I can’t afford Premier yet I use Roxios’ Video Wave Editor 7 Pro and Video Wave Editor 4. Not the best software but it works. I used Video Wave Editor 4 for the majority of this video because of the limitations of 7. I also use VirtualDub, and A&E Technical guild for all my post and pre production needs. Thanks to them I can get my video footage looking to nice :D.
Effects:
I did more with this video than the last one. I used image blends, camera flashes, white flashes and pictures in a box. I also improved the color on the video by tweaking it so the picture is brighter. So a lot more effects. I think the video with the most effects in it is still “Heaven’s A Lie” but this would be the second.
