  • Comments: Folken, Naria and Eriya. Painfully overlooked characters in the unforgettable anime, Tenkuu no Escaflowne. In my opinion, their stories are some of the saddest in any anime I've seen.

    This video is my little tribute to their relationship. Not so much in the love triangle sense, because it really never played out that way in the anime. This is just an overall look at the devotion the twins have for Folken. It's all just sad. Sad song...sad characters...sad story. I really only recommend this video for those who are real fans of the characters. I'm happy with the result, as simple as it is. In regards to the song, I'm a very big Tori Amos fan, and from the first time I heard it- I couldn't help but think of the three characters throughout (though I had no clue what to do with the "little green men do okay" lyric). Tori's lyrics tend to work like puzzle pieces, but somehow her words worked for me to tell their story. Admitedly, I got a little teary when editing toward the ending.

    Like my Ryuugekitai, I'm not entirely sure how people respond to this kind of video, but it's worth a shot.
