  • Comments: My first video! Premiered at Anime Boston 06 in the overflow. There wasn't applause nor mocking. The reception was like "after so many bad videos this one wasn't half bad". Hope you all like it.

    I choose this video to be my first AMV because out of all the ideas in my head this one was the most clear concept that still had an upbeat vibe. I wanted to make a first video that wouldn't look like it was made by a novice and could seriously compete in a contest. I wanted my video to have Street Cred.

    The story is of Neji living his life according to the fate of his subjegated ninja clan, lashing back against his (pointless?) exsistance, and the start of his healing.

    Healing from a tortured past- in shonen anime anyway, always involves fighting a righteous opponent. In this anime, it is Naruto. Give Neji hope Naruto! Lead him from the darkness!

    I thought of this video the first time I heard this song. I think it fights quite well, although I debated leaving out the closure of Nejis angst and just ending it with Naruto winning- since that would be more high tempo and dramatic...but decided against it since this was Nejis story, Not Narutos. The music still sychs with pertanent clips but since the fighting is over, there is a slower feeling. This portion gets better with repeated veiwings.

    I made this video with Windows movie maker and Flash dvd ripper over the course of 3 day (30 hrs?) over at Sheilas house (attagirljr). I used no special cuts or fades-not even many special effects...only speed up and slow down pretty much.

    Feel free to comment and opinion...I feel I have grown alot from this first video already.
