• Comments: Okay, here's the story about the video. While friends and I were watching UTENA, we discovered that there was an awful lot of smacking going on throughout the series. We ended up finding this rather amusing and every time someone would get smakced, punched, whatever, we would end up chanting the lyrics to "Smack My Bitch Up". Enter the idea for an AMV.
  
  Well, my friend and I did just that. I edited all the footage for him and he made the first edition of this music video about 3 years ago. Well, we both never got around to fixing it up and so when I recently watched it, I thought, "This needs to be completely redone." There were many problems with the first one: same footage use, subtitles being seen, timing issues, etc. It wasn't too terrible, but certainly something that you wouldn't want to put on the org unless reissued.
  
  So, I went back, captured footage, and remade the entire video. I found smacks and punches that I never had before, which were very useful. I'm sure this video is still far from perfect, but it's still much better than the original.
  
  There are some SPOILERS for duels and those who duel in the series, so be warned.
  
  Also, I supposed that I should put a disclaimer about the fact that I don't approve of people going around and smacking others all the time for silly reasons. In other words, don't take it personally. If you don't like it, don't watch it. It's supposed to be more comical than anything else.
  
  Oh, the quality isn't fantastic because I'm still playing around with compressors... Once I figure out the best one for the quality and size of the vid, I'll repost it here.
