• Comments: I mostly made this video because I really like this song. I hadn't watched Last Exile yet when I first thought about making a video to the song, but I had seen AMVs to the show and I thought all of the flying scenes really fit with the choruses. So I watched it and was happy to see that a lot of the scenes worked really well for what I wanted to do. :)
  
  This project actually went along pretty quickly. I think it might've been because the video just came together so easily. Last Exile had a lot of good scenes to work with, and they all just seemed to fit into the song so well. So I met with little resistance. ;) I mostly focused on scene selection, flow, and timing the scenes, but I did also do some effects to enhance the video at some parts. Mostly I used my usual brightness/contrast flashes, blurs, diffuse glows, and various other effects. And I finally learned how to easily make feathers in Premiere, so I used quite a few of those. ^_~
  
  In general, I followed the story line in Last Exile, but I focused on about five key characters and changed some events around. The theme of the video is essentially about Claus's love of flying and his ability to "rise above" hardships. My goal with this video was to make it pretty, and to keep it fast-paced and interesting.
